Work for Us

At Eastlight, we create a growing and diverse environment where our people can shine. We know that to be a leader in the housing sector we need to attract and keep the very best people.

What's it like working at Eastlight?

We are a community-led non-profit organisation formed in 2020. We have 400 employees with a wide range of skills who ensure our residents have a safe, stable and comfortable home they are proud to live in.

We want a diverse range of people from different backgrounds to join us and help Eastlight succeed.

Our values shape how we do things at Eastlight and we recruit people who are ambitious for our residents and communities.

In return we invest in our people, have a range of benefits and development opportunities.

We offer hybrid working.  We have three office sites but most teams can work where and when it best suits them and the business.

    What support is on offer?

Engaging with our people is more important than ever when so many of us work remotely.  There are plenty of touch points to connect with colleagues and feel part of Eastlight.

Twice a year we get together virtually or in person for our We are Eastlight events.

Regular sessions are held to encourage our people to shape services, a customer-focused and inclusive culture and have open conversations about the experiences in our work and home lives.

Wellbeing and good mental health is a real focus for us. Some of our people volunteer to be Mental Health First Aiders, signposting colleagues to expert help and everyone has free access to a confidential helpline.
