We are pleased to announce that the Regulator of Social Housing has today confirmed Eastlight’s G1 V1 rating following an In-Depth Assessment. This is the top rating awarded by the regulator.

The regulator is fully assured that Eastlight is a financially strong and robust organisation.

Emma Palmer, Chief Executive, of Eastlight, said: “To have retained our top rating despite the challenges of merging during a pandemic is a clear indicator that the regulator has confidence in our financial plans and how we run our business.

"This endorses our commitment to do more to meet housing need and support our communities in the East of England.’’

Eastlight is England’s largest community-led housing association. This year we launched our corporate strategy which was shaped by our customers and people. It sets out ambitious plans to modernise services, build 3,800 new homes over five years and launch All In, a trailblazing programme to empower communities to tackle the social challenges that affect them.

Hattie Llewelyn-Davies, Eastlight’s Chair, said: “We are delighted to retain our G1 V1 rating. This is testament to the continued hard work and dedication of our people and our engaged residents.

"We are in a really strong position to deliver our corporate strategy and to work with our customers and partners to meet the challenges before us in the years to come.’’
