The Regulator of Social Housing has published an Interim Regulatory Judgement awarding Eastlight Community Homes grades of V1 and G1.

Eastlight formed in July 2020 through the merger of Greenfields Community Housing and Colne Housing.

The judgement, published on 24 July 2020, is based on the regulator’s previous assessments of Greenfields and Colne, both of which held G1 and V1 ratings.

It is in place until the regulator carries out an In Depth Assessment (IDA) into Eastlight, which is likely to take place in the second half of 2021.

Emma Palmer, Chief Executive of Eastlight Community Homes, said: “This interim judgement follows the great work carried out by our people to successfully create Eastlight Community Homes.

“We look forward to working with the regulator as we continue to develop our trailblazing resident-focused Community Gateway Association.”
