Your chance to find out how your voice, experiences and opinions have shaped our services this past year – and discover what’s planned for the year ahead.
Since launching the Resident Members Charter in September 2025, residents have played a key role in shaping how Eastlight listens, learns and makes decisions. Your insights and experiences have helped improve our services, communication and how we work in neighbourhoods across our communities.
On Thursday, 30 April, we’re bringing Eastlight residents, staff, Committee members and Board representatives together for a celebration event – a chance to look back at what’s been achieved so far, Eastlight’s performance in the last year, and to explore the opportunities you can take part in throughout 2026-27.
Why the Charter matters
The Resident Members Charter is our long‑term promise to you that your views will always be central to how we work and our decision making. It supports open conversations, stronger accountability and more meaningful involvement – helping ensure we continue to deliver the kinds of services that truly matter to you.
Through the Eastlight Community Gateway Circle, you can get involved in a variety of ways, from service scrutiny and improvement workshops to community-based projects and neighbourhood‑led activities.
What’s happening on the day
At the Charter Celebration event, you’ll hear updates on:
- What your feedback has helped us to achieve over the past year
- Key performance insights, including the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs)
- Service improvements and what’s planned next
- New and upcoming involvement opportunities for 2026
- How residents can join Eastlight groups, such as our Active Residents Network, ERGs, Community Voices and more.
You’ll also be able to speak directly with Eastlight teams, take part in interactive sessions, and explore how you can shape services in your area.
Plus - a free lunch (and some tasty snacks) will be available, to ensure you’re energised for the day!
