Want to influence how your repairs are delivered? Join our Repairs Scrutiny Bootcamp this January and get paid for sharing your views!

At Eastlight, we want our repairs service to work better for residents. So, what better way to change how our repairs work than by listening to the people who use it?

On Thursday, 22 January between 9.30am - 2.30pm, we’re running a Repairs Scrutiny Bootcamp. It will bring residents together to review real repair experiences, especially where more than one visit was needed. Your insight will help shape improvements and inspire how repairs are delivered in future.

 

You might be right for this if you:

  • Have recently had repairs in your home, including jobs that needed multiple visits
  • Want to get involved and help improve services for others
  • Are happy to share your views and listen to different experiences
  • Can watch and read some pre-event materials, including a brief training video.

You don’t need any experience of scrutiny – just honesty, time and a willingness to take part.

 

We want everyone to feel able to attend without worry. That’s why we’ll:

  • Pay compensation for your time of £75
  • Cover any reasonable travel and childcare costs
  • Provide a friendly, supportive space to share your views
  • Show you how resident scrutiny works and how it leads to change.

You’ll also meet other residents and Eastlight colleagues who care about improving your repairs. You’ll gain experience in service scrutiny and have access to future opportunities to shape services that matter to you.

Places are offered on a first come, first served basis. If you’re selected, we’ll be in touch soon to confirm your attendance and share your pre-event reading materials.
