Regulatory judgement confirms Eastlight’s strong foundation and ongoing progress
The Regulator of Social Housing has today published its regulatory judgement for Eastlight Community Homes, following an inspection completed this month (July 2025).
Eastlight has retained the highest possible ratings for governance (G1) and financial viability (V1), confirming that we are a well-led and financially strong organisation.
We have received a C2 consumer standard rating – our first under the Regulator’s new consumer inspection regime. This confirms we are compliant with all consumer standards, with improvements already under way in key areas such as repairs and performance reporting.
Our repairs service has been performing at target levels since March 2025, and resident satisfaction is strong and improving (see our Tenant Satisfaction Measures here). We’ve introduced place-based working for our Home Solutions Team, co-designed our Repairs Pledge with residents, and strengthened how we track and report performance.
Eastlight’s Chief Executive, Emma Palmer, said:
“We’re proud to retain our top ratings for governance and financial strength – and confident in the direction we’re heading.
“Our repairs service is now meeting the standards our residents expect, and we’re already making the changes needed to go further.
“As a resident-led, inclusive and ambitious organisation, we welcome this judgement as a clear platform to build on. We’re focused on doing the things that matter most to our customers.”
