Pop in to our Domestic Abuse awareness event this December

Domestic abuse can happen to anyone.
It can happen inside and outside the home, over the phone and on social media.
It can also happen in any relationship, not just romantic, and can continue even after the relationship has ended.
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, support is available - and you don’t have to go through it alone.
On Thursday, 4 December, our Intensive Housing Support Team is hosting a drop-in event at Braintree Hub, where you can speak confidentially with people who understand and can help.
We understand coming along to an event can be overwhelming, especially if you're worried about talking about your experiences. Our team of experts are on hand to support you, and can talk to you in a private space if you'd like to.
If you'd just like to find out more about domestic abuse and how you can support others, you can learn how to spot the signs (it’s not always physical), find out what support is available and how to access it safely.
We'll also have friendly professionals from local charities and support services like Next Chapter joining us on the day.
Whether you’re looking for advice, support, or just want to know more, you’re welcome to come along. No pressure, no judgment — just help when you need it.
