We’re on the lookout for passionate Eastlight residents to help influence our services and communities for the better – as two new Customer Influence Committee (CIC) Members and one Trainee Board Member.
As a resident-led organisation, we know the value of lived experience. Whether you're a tenant, leaseholder or shared owner, your insight can help us make better decisions, improve services and build communities people feel proud to live in.
Shaping decisions that matter
The Customer Influence Committee plays a vital role in ensuring residents’ voices are heard. By joining, you’ll help guide Eastlight’s future plans, challenge decisions when needed and make sure the services we offer truly meet residents’ needs. Your contribution will help us stay transparent, responsive and focused on what really matters.
As a Trainee Board Member, you’ll have the unique opportunity to sit alongside Eastlight’s leadership, sharing your views and helping to influence strategic decisions. You’ll observe key meetings, learn how our governance works and be supported through a bespoke development programme that prepares you to step confidently into future professional roles.
How you’ll make your mark
You’ll help steer Eastlight’s direction, share your views on important decisions and work with others to improve services. Trainee Board Members also take part in high-level discussions, monitor budgets and receive tailored mentoring and training.
Bring your voice to the table
We’re after Eastlight residents who care about their community and want to make a difference. If you’re a good listener, confident speaking up and open to learning, we’d love to hear from you – especially if you’ve helped your neighbourhood thrive or bring people together.
