Get help to wrap up your rent this Christmas

Find out the support available to you if you need some help managing your rent this winter period.

Christmas time and the winter period can be an expensive time of year for many people.

We want you to know that support is available if you need a little extra help keeping your rent on track.

Every £1 Eastlight receives goes straight back into the services we provide to you. Paying your rent is a core part of your tenancy agreement, but it also helps us to

  • Manage and maintain your homes, so you can get repairs when you need them
  • Improve your homes, upgrading your kitchens, bathrooms and more
  • Enhance your communal areas, estates and neighbourhoods, such as play spaces, bin stores and other improvements you tell us matter to your community
  • Build new homes, so more people in our areas can feel safe and secure.

If you think you may struggle to make a payment this month, please get in touch as soon as you can. We’re here to help.

Our teams can offer advice to help you keep your payments on track. This may include setting up a Direct Debit, taking a payment over the phone or agreeing a payment plan that works for you.

We can also link you to trusted organisations that offer budgeting support, debt advice and guidance on the benefits you may be entitled to.

Your new Neighbourhood Lead is also on hand to answer questions, offer advice and help you stay comfortable in your home & community.
