Our Community Gateway Circle is all about bringing people together and making it easier for residents to get involved and have their voices heard. It links up our existing groups focused on scrutiny, communications and involvement, so everything feels more joined‑up and accessible.
Through the Circle, residents, staff, the Board, and Committees all stay connected and work more closely with each other. It creates a space where ideas can be shared, feedback can flow, and decisions are shaped by the people they affect most.
Ultimately, it’s about building stronger relationships, making sure residents are at the heart of what we do, and working as one team to deliver our services in a way that really makes a difference.

Community in a Cup in Southminster - October
Meet your Neighbourhood Lead for Maldon & Rochford, Rebecca, at the 'Community in a Cup' event at The Hive Community Hub, Christ Church. Simply come to say hello, ask Rebecca questions about your home and neighbourhood, or get relevant support. They’ll also be other groups attending who can support with health and wellbeing, isolation and loneliness, financial issues, volunteering opportunities and much more.
