Welcome to Foundry Court Community Centre!

We're a friendly, welcoming space at the heart of Manningtree, Essex.

Our rooms are available for hire and suited to all sorts of activities.

The community centre is owned and managed by Eastlight, and is used by people who live, work and study in the local community.

Spaces for Hire

With six versatile spaces available to hire seven days a week (between 7am–10pm), Foundry Court Community Centre is designed to flex around you.

Whether you’re hosting a meeting, running training sessions, holding consultations, or planning a larger event, each room blends fresh décor with practical features like kitchen access, WiFi, and optional AV equipment, so you can focus on what matters most.
Accessibility

Limited parking is available at the front of the centre, however a large free-to-use public car park is just a five-minute walk away. Manningtree train station is just a 15-minute walk.

The whole centre is on one level and fully accessible. It also has a wheelchair-accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.

What rooms can I hire?

A large room features a long oval desk with 10 chairs around it. There is also a freestanding white board and two sets of windows letting in light.

The Board Room

Need something formal? The Board Room comfortably seats 14, with capacity for up to 20 and even includes separate breakout areas ideal for workshops or strategy sessions.

The Meeting Room

Need something formal but smaller than The Board Room? The Meeting Room offers a more intimate setup for up to 12 people.

The Lounge

If you're after a relaxed atmosphere, the Lounge provides a spacious, comfortable setting with soft furnishings. It's perfect for informal meeting or social events and accommodates up to 67 standing guests.

The Consultation Room

Looking for something smaller? The botanical-designed Consultation Room can host up to 4 people and is ideal for private discussions, interviews or treatments.

The Café Area

Looking to host something with a bit more energy? The refurbished Café Area sets up to 40 - or 48 standing - and offers a mix of seating styles, from bar stools to cosy soft seating.

The Atrium

Need something for a large occasion? The stunning Atrium is a true standout, hosting up to 95 people standing, making it perfect for conferences, exhibitions, classes or celebrations.

Availability & Costs

Available to hire: Seven days a week between 7am - 10pm.

Hire Costs: Rooms cost from £10 per hour. Discounts are available for registered charities and regular bookings.

Foundry First Steps

Newborns and children aged up to three-years-old are welcome. £5 per family, every Friday morning during school term time. Includes refreshments, play, craft activities and singing.

Friends over 55

For just £6 per year, over 55s can enjoy live music and dancing (first Tuesday of the month); Craft & Chat every second Tuesday of the month; and Bingo every third Tuesday, with cash prizes.

Fun, easy Spanish with a native teacher including real-life scenarios and speaking and reading practice.
