Stay up to date with your Direct Debit payments by email

We're making it easier to manage your rent payments by introducing a new email notification service for residents who pay their rent by Direct Debit.

Why are we introducing this?

Currently, if a Direct Debit payment is missed or unsuccessful, we contact you directly by letter. However, we know postal delivery times can mean these letters don’t reach you as quickly as we’d like.

Instead, we’re working with our payment partner, Allpay, to offer email alerts, helping you to receive more updates quickly and conveniently.

If you choose to sign up, you’ll receive an email:

  • When you set up a new Direct Debit
  • If there are any changes to your Direct Debit payment amount, for example to reflect a rent increase
  • If a payment has been missed or unsuccessful

Why should I opt in to these email notifications?

Signing up gives you more control over your payments.

If there’s an issue with your Direct Debit, you’ll know sooner, allowing you to check what has happened and take action quickly if needed. This can help you avoid falling behind on payments and gives you peace of mind that you’re up to date.

By choosing email alerts, you’ll benefit from:

  • Faster updates delivered straight to your inbox
  • More time to resolve any payment issues
  • Greater confidence in managing your rent account
  • Less reliance on postal deliveries
  • A simple, convenient way to stay informed

How do I sign up?

If you’re already paying via direct debit, Allpay will contact you via email to ask if you want to opt-in to the service. They will use the email noreply@allpay.net to contact you.

Once you’re signed up, we’ll use your email address to send important updates about your Direct Debit payments.

We know email isn't right for everyone. If you don’t opt in, we’ll continue to contact you by post, when needed.
